Synopsis

Seventy-one patients with hip osteoarthritis were randomized to receive conventional therapy with either continuous ultrasound (n=21), pulsed-mode ultrasound (n=17), ultrasound and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (n=15), or sham ultrasound (n=18).
