Six controlled clinical trials containing a total of 493 patients with knee osteoarthritis were included in this systematic review and meta-analysis comparing the combination of mesenchymal stem cells and platelet-rich plasma (n=204) with control (n=289; mesenchymal stem cells, platelet-rich plasma, or hyaluronic acid alone).
