Synopsis
17,465 persons who experienced a holiday decorating fall injury during the 2000-2003 holiday seasons were included in retrospective study. Approximately 5,800 fall injuries due to holiday decorating occur every holiday season with persons aged 20-49 making up the majority of injuries (62%), followed by persons >49 years (24%) and persons aged 0-19 (15%).
