Synopsis
Fifty eight patients with hallux valgus deformities were randomized to receive a minimally invasive scarf (MIS) osteotomy (n=30) or standard open scarf osteotomy (n=28). Outcomes of interest were radiologic measurements, postoperative clinical and pain scores, operative time, radiation exposure and complications.
