Synopsis
Twenty nine patients with lateral elbow tendinopathy were randomized to receive extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) (n=14) or surgical common extensor release (n=15). The primary outcome of interest was patient reported outcomes as evaluated by the Verhaar criteria. Secondary outcomes included patient satisfaction and mean improvement.
