Synopsis
One hundred and twenty-eight patients with musculoskeletal tumours and scheduled for a core needle biopsy were randomized to receive a pre-biopsy injection of 10 mL 2% lidocaine plus adrenaline (n=64) or 10 mL 2% lidocaine plus adrenaline plus 30 mg of ketorolac (n=64) for the relief of post-procedural pain.
