Synopsis

Eighteen patients were randomized into the accelerated or the standard rehabilitation programs. The primary outcome was tendon lengthening. Secondary outcomes included the Achilles Tendon Total Rupture Score (ATRS) and Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System Pain Interference Short Form (PROMIS PI-SF) score.
