Synopsis
78 patients scheduled for total knee arthroplasty were randomized to either intraarticular tranexamic acid administration or intravenous tranexamic acid administration. Patients were followed for outcome related to blood loss to postoperative drainage, hemoglobin drop and incidence of transfusion.
