Synopsis
Thirteen patients with non-cardiac functional chest pain were randomized to receive 5 mg capsules of dronabinol or placebo twice daily for 4 weeks. Patients described their chest pain episodes, completed the Short Form-36 (SF-36), Beck Anxiety Inventory and Beck Depression Inventory, and rated their pain during esophageal balloon distention tests (EBDT) to determine if dronabinol increased pain th...
