Synopsis
87 patients scheduled for surgery at the hindfoot or ankle were randomized to either compressive stocking use from day 14 after surgery to 6 weeks, or to no compressive stocking intervention. Patients were assessed for swelling reduction, pain reduction, and functional improvement after 12 weeks.
