Double-bundle PCL reconstruction lead to better posterior stability than single-bundle .

60 patients were randomized to compare the clinical and radiographic outcomes of posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) reconstruction using either double-bundle (DB) or single-bundle (SB) technique. Patients received either one of these two procedures and were assessed at the minimum 2 year follow-up. Results indicated that the DB technique led to better posterior stability when compared to the SB method; however, the DB technique could not be considered as a superior option as there were no differences in any of the subjective measurements.
