30 healthy elderly participants were randomized to undergo vibration (VIB) exercise training or an exercise program without vibration training. This study aimed to compare improvements in strength and power between these exercise regimens. 8 weeks of vibration training led to a significant increase in plantar flexor strength and power. The strength gains for the knee and hip flexors and extensors for both the vibration exercise training and exercise program group were similar.
