Comparison between proximal row carpectomy and four-corner fusion for treating osteoarthrosis following carpal trauma: a prospective randomized study
Clinics (Sao Paulo). 2011;66(1):51-5.20 patients with post-traumatic wrist osteoarthrosis were randomized to undergo proximal row carpectomy or four-corner fusion, with the purpose of comparing functional results between the two surgical techniques. Both treatment options reduced pain, and all postoperative functional results were similar between groups up to 1 after surgery.
