研究概要

Thirteen randomized controlled trials including 2609 patients with hip and/or knee osteoarthritis were included in this systematic review and meta-analysis comparing digitally delivered exercise versus traditional care methods. Pooled outcomes of interest included pain, physical function, and quality of life. Digitally delivered exercise was found to be superior to education only and paper-based delivery for short-term pain and physical function improvements and had comparable effectiveness to face-to-face delivery in the medium and long term. The main findings suggest that digitally delivered exercise can be a viable alternative to traditional care methods, particularly in the context of remote healthcare delivery.
