83 patients, with a total of 96 cases of hallux valgus, were randomized surgical correction using the scarf osteotomy or the chevron osteotomy. The purpose of this study was to compare recurrence rate, defined as a return of a hallux valgus angle of 15 degrees or more, between to two groups.
