U-Dos Double-Bundle and Single-Bundle Allograft Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction: A Comparative Study.
Orthopedics. 2023 Jan-Feb;46(1):13-18.72 patients with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries were randomized to receive a U-Dos double bundle reconstruction (n=36) or a single-bundle reconstruction (n=36). Outcomes of interest included clinical outcomes (International Knee Documentation Committee [IKDC], Tegner-Lysholm Score), adverse events, complications, rotational stability and anteroposterior instability. Outcomes were assessed throughout a 2 year follow-up period. The U-Dos double bundle group displayed significantly better clinical scores, a lower rate of failures and re-interventions, and greater rotational and anteroposterior stability compared to the single-bundle group at 2 years.
