研究概要

One hundred and twenty patients with end-stage knee osteoarthritis (OA) undergoing knee arthroplasty were randomized to receive a personalized goal attainment scaling rehabilitation program or standard rehabilitation. The primary outcomes of interest were Visual Analog Scale (VAS) patient satisfaction with activities of daily living, work and leisure. Secondary outcomes of interest included the Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS), Oxford Knee Score (OKS), the Work, Osteoarthritis or joint-Replacement Questionnaire (WORQ), the Euro-Qol-5 Dimensions (EQ-5D) quality of life measure, and the Net Promoter Score (NPS). Outcomes were assessed up to 1 year post-treatment. A significant difference in VAS work satisfaction score was observed at 12 months in favour of the goal attainment scaling rehab group compared to the standard group. Otherwise, no significant differences were observed between the 2 treatment arms groups for all other outcomes at all time-points.
