A Randomized Clinical Trial Comparing Posterior Cruciate-Stabilizing vs Posterior Cruciate-Retaining Prostheses in Primary Total Knee Arthroplasty: 10-Year Follow-Up
J Arthroplasty. 2017 Mar;32(3):818-823100 patients scheduled for total knee arthroplasty were randomized to either a posterior cruciate-retaining implant or a posterior-cruciate substituting implant. Patients were assessed for function, quality of life, and the incidence of reoperation over a 10-year follow-up. No significant differences between groups were observed in any outcome measure.
