Sinus Tarsi vs Lateral Extensile Approach in Fracture Calcaneus Sander II and III. A Randomized Controlled Trial
180 patients with calcaneus fractures (Sanders II and III) were randomized to receive either the sinus tarsi (n=90) or extensile lateral (n=90) approach. Outcomes of interest included Bohler and Gissane angles, American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) scores, and wound complication rates.
