The effects of celecoxib or naproxen on blood pressure in pediatric patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis
Clin Med Insights Pediatr. 2015 May 4;9:55-62201 patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) were randomized to a naproxen group or a celecoxib group to compare the changes in systolic blood pressure (SBP) over 6 weeks, for the purpose of analyzing the safety and efficacy of NSAID treatment in pediatric patients. Results showed no significant changes in SBP in either group, with no difference between groups, and similar adverse events with no difference in overall well-being.
