Prospective Randomized Controlled Trial Comparing 1- Versus 7-Day Manipulation Following Collagenase Injection for Dupuytren Contracture

Epub 2014 Sep 4.43 patients (46 digits) with Dupuytren contracture were randomly allocated to undergo manipulation at 1 or 7 days after collagenase Clostridium histolyticum (CCH) injection, with the purpose of comparing the efficacy and side effects of postponing manipulation. At 30 days follow-up, the efficacy of CCH was preserved in the 7-day manipulation group, suggesting manipulation can be scheduled at the convenience of the patient and surgeon within the first 7 days post-injection.
