This is a long-term follow-up to a previously published pilot study which indicated that two to three moderate to high doses of psilocybin in combination with cognitive behavioural therapy resulted in 12 of 15 participants remaining abstinent from smoking after 6 months. This follow-up study found that 10 of 15 participants were abstinent from smoking, and at long term follow up (range 16-57 months) 9 of 12 participants were abstinent from smoking.
