54 patients undergoing wrist arthroscopy were randomized to receive combined cryotherapy and compression treatments (Cryo/Cuff) or a standard treatment to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the Cryo/Cuff bandage system. The patients were assessed postoperatively for 21 days for pain, swelling, range of motion, and subjective impairment (DASH). The study indicated that combined cryotherapy and compression produced no significant improvements in results compared to standard care.
