Cognitive test performance under LSD-25, placebo and isolation
J Nerv Ment Dis. 1966 23-Feb;():. 10.1097/00005053-196601000-00002Forty-two unemployed actors underwent a double-blind, placebo-controlled study to compare the effects of LSD and isolation on cognition. A cognitive battery consisting of multiple tests was used to assess cognition. LSD produced significant impairment on cognitive tests while isolation did not produce any impairments compared to LSD and placebo. There were stark differences in the effects of LSD versus isolation.
