One hundred and seventeen orthopedic surgeons and physicians were surveyed about their perceptions on intra-articular hyaluronic acid, including their use of intra-articular hyaluronic acid, perceived efficacy of intra-articular hyaluronic acid, perceived influence of product characteristics, perceived factors contributing to the use of intra-articular hyaluronic acid and brand selection, and the reasons behind their selection of the brand Euflexxa.
