Aceclofenac vs paracetamol in the management of symptomatic osteoarthritis of the knee: A double-blind 6-week randomized controlled trial
Osteoarthritis Cartilage. 2007 Aug;15(8):900-8. Epub 2007 Mar 26169 patients with symptomatic osteoarthritis of the knee were randomized to either receive aceclofenac (200mg daily) or paracetamol (3000mg daily). The results following the 6 week treatment period indicate that patients who received aceclofenac had improved pain, function and overall assessment in comparison to those who received paracetamol.
