Synopsis
One hundred pediatric patients (102 fractures) were included in this randomized trial comparing ibuprofen and acetaminophen for pain relief after sustaining a long bone fracture. The primary outcome of interest was the incidence of healing. Additional outcomes of interest included time to radiographic union, incidence of non-union, duration of medication use (i.e., treatment, narcotic consumption)...
