Does Cannabis Improve Sleep Quality? A Meta-analysis of Randomized Trials .

Research on cannabinoids and sleep remains early, and the overall picture is still mixed. Trials across a broad range of products and patient groups show only modest improvements in sleep—and only after several weeks of use. Early results tend to look no different from placebo, and even longer-term findings point to small gains, mainly with combined THC–CBD formulations or certain synthetic products. Side effects, including dizziness and fatigue, appear fairly common. Altogether, the evidence points to limited benefit and highlights the need for more rigorous studies to determine which components, doses, and delivery methods might truly matter.
