New Bone Glue Tested On Patients In Clinical Study For The First Time .
Could biodegradable bone adhesive offer a new approach to complex fractures? Researchers at Uppsala University have reached an important milestone, with their experimental bone glue now used in its first patient during knee surgery in England. Designed to stabilize fractures near joints and gradually be replaced by newly formed bone, the technology is entering clinical evaluation after years of laboratory and animal research.
