Synopsis

This study randomized 73 children suffering from cerebral palsy with varying levels of function to assess the safety and efficacy of upper extremity injections of BoNT-A by comparing it to a placebo. The assessment at 26 weeks revealed that BoNT-A injections led to significant short-term improvements in upper extremity function when compared to placebo.
