Synopsis
Forty nine patients with operative tibial plateau fractures were randomized to receive a postoperative hinged knee brace (n=24) or no brace (n=25). Outcomes of interest included postoperative range of motion, patient reported outcomes, radiographic analysis and complication rates. There was no difference in any postoperative outcomes between the brace and no brace groups.
