One hundred twenty-six patients with femoral neck fractures treated with total hip arthroplasty (THA) were randomized to robot-assisted visualized load-bearing rehabilitation (n=63) or conventional walking-aid rehabilitation (n=63). The primary outcomes were VAS pain, hip flexion-extension ROM, Harris score, straight-leg-raise (SLR) duration, and 3-minute walk distance at 1 month; perioperative/length-of-stay metrics and complications were secondary. Rehab was delivered for 5–7 days in-hospital with continuation at home; assessments occurred at 1 month. Overall, the robot group showed better VAS, ROM, Harris, SLR duration, and walk distance than controls, all statistically significant. These findings suggest that visualized load-bearing guidance accelerates early functional recovery after THA.
