Tibial fixation during ACL reconstruction with Dr. Parker
113 patients undergoing isolated, unilateral, primary anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction with hamstring autografts were randomized to tibial fixation with either a metal interference screw and staples (RCI) or with a centrally placed polyethylene screw and sheath implant (INTRAFIX). The results of the study indicated that there were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of stability and laxity.
