Effectiveness of Cognitive Functional Therapy for Reducing Pain and Disability in Chronic Low Back Pain: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis.
J Orthop Sports Phys Ther . 2023 May;0(5):1-42.Five randomized controlled trials comparing the safety and efficacy of cognitive functional therapy against control for chronic low back pain were included in this meta-analysis. Outcomes of interest included psychological status, patient satisfaction, and global improvement. Both groups were similar when comparing psychological status, patient satisfaction, and global improvement at 12 months.
