This study has been identified as potentially high impact.
OE's AI-driven High Impact metric estimates the influence a paper is likely to have by integrating signals from both the journal in which it is published and the scientific content of the article itself.
Developed using state-of-the-art natural language processing, the OE High Impact model more accurately predicts a study's future citation performance than journal impact factor alone.
This enables earlier recognition of clinically meaningful research and helps readers focus on articles most likely to shape future practice.
Preliminary assessment of the safety and efficacy of tanezumab in Japanese patients with moderate to severe osteoarthritis of the knee: A randomized, double-blind, dose-escalation, placebo-controlled study
Osteoarthritis Cartilage; 2011;19(12):1405-141283 Japanese patients with moderate to severe osteoarthritis of the knee were randomized to receive either tanezumab 10, 25, 50, 100 or 200 mg/kg or a placebo. The results from 120 day follow-up indicated that stronger doses of tanezumab result in significantly better pain relief in comparison to baseline measurements. However, the results from the study also indicated that adverse events occurred in 6 patients who received the drug in comparison to 1 who received placebo.
