Comparable Stability of Cemented vs Press-Fit Placed Stems in Revision Total Knee Arthroplasty With Mild to Moderate Bone Loss: 6.5-Year Results From a Randomized Controlled Trial With Radiostereometric Analysis
J Arthroplasty. 2017 Jan;32(1):197-20130 patients who had undergone revision total knee arthroplasty, had been randomized to hybrid or cement fixation, and had completed 2-year follow-up were included in this mid-term follow-up study. 23 patients were available and assessed for femoral and tibial migration over 6.5 years, with translation and rotation assessed using radiosterometric analysis. Results demonstrated no significant difference between groups in translation of the femoral or tibial component, or in rotation of the femoral or tibial component.
