A pilot clinical evaluation comparing the Mitek bone-tendon-bone cross pin and bioabsorbable screw in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction fixation, a randomized double blind controlled trial

OE Journal. 2013;1(2):227 Knee. 2008 Jun;15(3):168-73. Epub 2008 Mar 440 patients undergoing bone-patellar tendon-bone ACL reconstruction were randomized to auto-graft fixation using either RIGIDfix cross pins or Linvatec Bioscrews to compared clinical outcomes. At 24 months follow-up, all patients demonstrated clinically significant improvements in knee function and quality of life assessments; however, there were no differences between groups.
