Effect of Repetitive Peripheral Magnetic Stimulation on Patients With Low Back Pain: A Meta-analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials.

Six randomized controlled trials (139 patients) comparing the effects of repetitive peripheral magnetic stimulation (rPMS) against a control in patients with low back pain, were included in this systematic review and meta-analysis. Outcomes of interest included pain intensity on a Visual Analog Scale (VAS), Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), and Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia (TSK). Pain intensity and ODI scores favored the rPMS group compared to the control. TSK was similar between the two groups.
