OE Journal. 2019;7(5):24 Am J Sports Med. 2018 Nov;46(13):3134-3141. doi: 10.1177/036354651879589575 patient scheduled for arthroscopic repair of a supraspinatus tear were randomized to repair with or without augmentation with platelet-rich plasma. The current study sought to compare clinical scores and healing on MRI at 60-month follow-up. Results demonstrated no significant differences between groups at 60-months in either UCLA score, Constant score, pain on a visual analog scale, or tendon healing on MRI according to the Sugaya classification.
