Postoperative rehabilitation does not improve functional outcome in lumbar spinal stenosis: A prospective study with 2-year postoperative follow-up
Euro Spine Journal; 20;1331-1340.102 patients who were surgically treated for lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS) were randomized to receive rehabilitation or standard postoperative treatment. The results of the 2 year follow-up indicated that the two groups displayed no significant differences in regards to disability, pain and patient satisfaction. However, all outcomes significantly improved in each group at 2 year follow-up.
