The Potency of Platelet-Rich Plasma for Chronic Low Back Pain: A Systematic Review and Metaanalysis of Randomized Controlled Trial.
Asian Spine J . 2023 Aug;17(4):782-789.Three randomized controlled trials that compared the efficacy of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) on pain versus a control group, were included in this systematic review and meta-analysis. The primary outcome of this study was to assess pain on a normalized pain scale at 1, 3, and 6 months follow-up. The results showed that pain was significantly better at all time points in the PRP group.
