All-Inside Single-Bundle Reconstruction of the Anterior Cruciate Ligament with the Anterior Half of the Peroneus Longus Tendon Compared to the Semitendinosus Tendon: A Two-Year Follow-Up Study

124 patients scheduled for all-inside anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction were randomized to reconstruction with either an anterior portion peroneus tendon autograft or a semitendinosus autograft. Patients were assessed for knee stability measures - including KT-1000 arthrometer results, the anterior drawer test, and pivot shift test - and clinical scores over 24-month follow-up. Results demonstrated no significant differences between groups at 24-month follow-up.
