Effect of low-intensity pulsed ultrasound on distraction osteogenesis: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials

Pooled analyses demonstrated no significant differences between LIPUS groups and sham/control intervention groups on the bone healing index measure, the incidence of pin tract infections, and the incidence of delayed or nonunion.
