The primary outcomes of this trial were to assess clinical outcomes such as number of dressing changes, satisfaction, pain and functional recovery scores, wound scores, and wound-related complications, as well as dressing-related costs. The results of this trial showed significant reductions in dressing changes and post-operative hospital stay and improvements in patient satisfaction and scar assessment in the intervention group when compared to the traditional dressing group.
