A prospective randomised double-blind study of functional outcome and range of flexion following total knee replacement with the NexGen standard and high flexion components
J Bone Joint Surg Br. 2008 Jan;90(1):37-4260 patients scheduled for unilateral total knee arthroplasty (TKA) for OA were randomized to either the high flexion version of the NexGen legacy posterior stabilized total knee replacement or to a standard version. At 1 year, no significant differences in the outcomes, including the maximum knee flexion were observed between patients receiving the standard and high flexion implant designs.
