Minimizing Internal Rotation Strength Deficit After Use of Semitendinosus for Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction: A Modified Harvesting Technique
Arthroscopy. 2008 Jul;24(7):786-95. Epub 2008 Apr 21.35 patients surgically treated for anterior knee instability were randomly assigned to either a modified semitendinosus harvesting technique or the standard technique. At 25 month follow up, the suggested experimental semitendinosus graft harvesting technique minimized the postoperative loss of strength in internal rotation after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.
