Does cervical spine manipulation reduce pain in people with degenerative cervical radiculopathy? A systematic review of the evidence, and a meta-analysis

Three randomized controlled trials were included in this systematic review and meta-analysis to determine the effectiveness and safety of spine manipulation in patients with cervical radiculopathy. Moderate quality evidence using the GRADE approach indicated a significant immediate reduction in pain with treatment. The quality of evidence was downgraded due to heterogeneity between trials. Although no adverse events were observed, this outcome was reported in only one of the included studies.
