Mindful Walking in Patients with Chronic Low Back Pain: A Randomized Controlled Trial
J Integr Complement Med . 2022 Jun;28(6):474-483.Fifty five patients with chronic low back pain were randomized to either the mindful walking program (n=29) or no intervention (n=26). The primary outcome if this trial was to determine pain intensity at 8 weeks. The secondary outcomes of this trial were stress, low back pain, function, and quality of life at 12 weeks. No significant differences were seen between the two groups at 8 weeks when considering pain scores.
