Int Orthop. 2013 Feb;37(2):321-6. doi: 10.1007/s00264-012-1654-y. Epub 2012 Sep 14Nine studies were identified in this systematic review to investigate whether evidence exists to support the use of Ligament Augmentation and Reconstruction System (LARS) for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction. The reported outcome scores were comparable to autograft techniques and the LARS technique also demonstrated low complication rates. However, the methodological quality of the included studies was poor and this should be considered when drawing conclusions from this systematic review.
