A prospective randomized trial to evaluate clinico-radiological outcome of arthroscopic single bundle versus double bundle anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction
60 patients scheduled for arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction were randomized to either single- or double-bundle reconstruction. Patients were followed for an average of 35 months postoperatively for results on knee stability tests, functional outcome measures, and MRI-assessed graft-tibial angle. No significant differences between groups were found for any outcome at final follow-up.
